We have LOTS of precious fur babies available for adoption, please come meet them at the Addison PetSmart - 3800 Belt Line, Addison, TX 75001 - every Saturday from 1-7 and every Sunday from 1-6--------------------------------WE NEED FOSTER HOMES FOR ANIMALS! Fosters are the backbone of animal rescue. In most EVERY shelter - in most EVERY county - in most EVERY city - animals r being euthanized (KILLED) daily due to overcrowding - dog - cat - large - small - male - female - puppy - kitten - old - young. We cannot save them without foster homes. APPROXIMATELY ONE OUT OF THREE ANIMALS THAT ENTER A SHELTER IS EUTHANIZED. These healthy sweet ... (Read More)pets would have made great companions. Don't know what fostering is? Briefly - it is babysitting an animal until it is adopted. FOSTERING IS FREE TO DO! Most rescues cover all expenses for fosters, and anything they do not cover is tax-deductible. If u cannot foster - please ask your friends and family to. If u want more information - Google 'animal fostering.' I'm begging - it's only temporary but lives can't be saved unless people step up - PLEASE - shelters are overflowing - when you foster one animal - you save two lives - the one you foster and the one that gets his/her space in the shelter. If you can/will foster - let me know, I thank you - and the animals thank you! PS - Have you ever dreamed of helping a rescue but don't have the time, space, or just plain don't know what to do? At your pet limit? Allergic? Can't have pets where you live? Well - how about becoming a VIRTUAL FOSTER... You can choose a minimum amount of $10 a month to 'virtually' foster a homeless animal of your choice (of course, a larger sum would be happily accepted and appreciated). What does Virtual Foster mean? Our foster fur babies typically have many veterinary bills, as this is the nature of being rescued. There are also other expenses related to the ongoing care and rehab of fosters. As a Virtual Foster, your donation will go towards the vetting - medical care, and general care of the animal you have chosen. Your donation will go a LONG way in ensuring a foster dog receives the needed care and attention! In return for your kind donation, you will receive a periodic update on the progress of your foster. Once your foster is adopted, you will be notified so that you can choose another animal to foster. If you genuinely cannot foster, there are still other ways to help. Drive for transports, evaluate dogs in your local animal shelter, or take pictures of their available animals. (Less)

Norfolk Terrier Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Abused/Neglected

Arlo, is a wonderful young pup. He turns 1 in January. I purchased him from a family for $300. He is very timid and shy. I fear he has been mistreated by a male in that family. Nonetheless, he is sweet and loves my other dogs and my 13 year-old. He is kenneled at night and also does well in our beds. He is up to date on shots and does not mark in the house. He is chipped and can be updated to new owner. He eats 1/2 cup in the am and 1/2 cup at 6pm. He loves to give kisses and begs to be on your lap and for hugs. He is independent and not a barker in the yard nor home. He is adapted to the outside and is indoor trained as well. He ... (Read More)plays with his friends outside while I am at work and comes in at 5, eats and tells me about his day. They are kenneled by 9-9:30 for the night. He wakens by 7 and starts his morning. He needs care and much love into a new home. He is great on a leash for walks. Very smart and fast learning pup. He is quite shy in the beginning but warms up with trust. I am sick in health and can not care for him and my papillon. I hope to find them homes together or separate if I really need too. Look for Cash in other post. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-08-30-00235Efrain (male)

Norfolk Terrier Mix    Age: Puppy

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hey! What's up? Hello! My name is Efrain. You can say it EE-frayn or eff-rah-EEN. I'm a shy little fellow looking for my fur-ever home! My foster moms think that I love other dogs more than humans because I'm in love with my foster sister, even though she is sometimes grumpy about having to share attention or toys. I am great at cuddling, getting along with other dogs, running and playing fetch, and eating like a big boy! I like chew toys and sleeping with my foster family. My foster moms learned REALLY quickly that I can make REALLY loud whines when I'm left in a kennel. BOW-WOW! I'm still learning how to potty outside every time, but I'm ... (Read More)good at using puppy pads in the meantime. I'm perfect for a family that already has a dog and is looking for another puppy to add to the family! I may take a little time to warm up to you, but I have a big heart! Efrain is a male terrier mix. He was born around June 25, 2016 and currently weighs about 18 pounds. PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If you are interested in adopting a puppy, please fill out an application on our website http://www.k-9angelsrescue.org/adoption_process_k-9_angels_rescue.html. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month timeframe it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. However, we only adopt young puppies locally, due to the 4 month timeframe it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready. NOTE: All dogs are officially the property of K-9 Angels Rescue until they are altered by our veterinarian. Please LIKE and share our Facebook page: www.facebook.com/k9angelsrescue. Thank you! Rescue Me ID: 16-06-17-00336Jenelle (female)

Norfolk Terrier Mix    Age: Young Adult

Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Who is this cute little scruffy dog and what is her story, you may be asking yourself. Well, my name is Jenelle. Some people around here call me 'Teen Mom' and my foster mom likes to call me 'Little Momma' which I kind of like. When a nice lady rescued me I was pregnant and being a young pup myself, the only thing that interested me was hanging out with my friends. My pups are older and in forever homes so now I am on the hunt to find my perfect happy ending. I just love to play. That is my favorite thing to do, so I would very much like to have a brother or sister to play with. My foster brothers and sisters are both big and small and I ... (Read More)love them all. Cats I am not too sure about. I see cats on our walks outside and all I want to do is chase them. Foster mom won't let me get close enough to sniff on them though. Another one of my favorite things is chewing on chewies and playing with toys. I could chew and squeak toys for hours. I am still working some on potty training, but foster mom says I am doing better. There for a while I was scared to go in the backyard but would be a good girl on walks. I have been told I am a bit stubborn. I have mastered the doggy door. It is really fun to run in and out with my foster brother. If I sound like your perfect kind of pup, bring on the party and come meet me. Jennelle is a female Norfolk terrier/Chihuahua mix and we estimate that she is about 2 years old. PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events.
